How is the bathroom equipped?The bathroom contains a full bathtub with shower, toilet and vanity. Two sets of towels (bath, hand, and washcloth) are set out in the bath. An additional 4 sets are available in the bedroom closet. A starter supply of soap and toilet paper are available for use by guests. Back to TopHow is the kitchen equipped?The kitchen contains a small stove, a full size refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. Pots, pans, knives and cooking utensil are available for guests' use. A dish towel, dish cloth, and starter supplies of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and paper towels are set out for guests. Back to TopIs there a washer and dryer available?Not in the villa. There are coin operated washer and dryer available in the building on the first and second floors. If you are planning to do laundry, you want to consider adding laundry soap to the things you bring. Back to TopWhat sleeping accommodations are available in the villa?The bedroom contains queen bed. Built in to the hallway is a set of bunk beds. The sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed. Linens are available for all of these. Back to TopHow big is the villa?Villa is Hilton Head-speak for a condo. My villa is a vacation condo. It's a little more than 560 sq. feet. Big enough to handle a family for a beach vacation, or a couple snow-birding for a couple of months. It is in nice condition, and it is near the resort's swimming pool and the beach. Back to TopWhere is Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort located on the island ?Hilton Head Beach and Tennis resort is located mid-island. It is between Port Royal Plantation and Palmetto Dunes. It is an ocean front resort, providing direct access to Hilton Heads best beach. Back to TopWhere is your villa located in the resort?If you enlarge the aerial view of the resort below, You will see 3 Y-shaped ocean front buildings. My villa is a 1 bedroom / 1 bath condominium on the top floor of Ocean Villas Building B (i.e. the middle Y-shaped building). The villa is in the V of the Y, on the right part of the V. There is an ocean view from the entire balcony (even from the sofa in the living room). The villa gets morning sun and after noon shade.
Back to TopHow far is the villa from the beach? the swimming pool?The villa has a nice view of the ocean from the balcony. It is less than 100 yards to the beach. The swimming pool is even closer, maybe 60 yards. Back to TopWho manages your villa?I do. You are renting directly from the owner. No property management/rental agency is involved. This allows me to provide a price less than that of the villas managed by such organizations. My housekeeper cleans the villa after each guest. She does a good job of letting me know of problems that she notices. I visit the villa a few of times each year to perform maintenance.
